NFL Winner Picks for 5 - 12 October, 2026

NFL Yes or No Predictions: October 5–12, 2026

Early straight-up winner picks for every NFL game in this date range. October 5 finishes Week 4; October 8–12 covers Week 5. Prepared October 4, 2026.

How to read these picks: YES means we predict that team will win. NO means we predict that team will not win. These are early, market-based leans, not guarantees or automatic buy recommendations. Live Robinhood prices have not been verified.

Stronger early winner leans: Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans. A stronger winner lean can still be overpriced.

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to see all columns. Confidence is a relative label based on early lines, not a calculated win percentage.

How These Predictions Relate to Robinhood

Match the prediction to the exact contract question. If the contract asks “Will Dallas win?” our Dallas YES pick points to YES. If it asks “Will Tampa Bay win?” our Tampa Bay NO pick points to NO. Compare the purchase prices and terms before choosing either position.

NO on one team is not always identical to YES on its opponent. Read the contract’s rules for ties, overtime, postponements and cancellations. Our NO labels are predictions, not instructions to short or sell a contract.

A correct standard contract held to settlement pays $1 per contract; an incorrect one pays $0. Your profit subtracts the purchase cost and applicable fees.

Illustration only: Buy 10 contracts at $0.60 each for $6 before fees. If correct, the $10 settlement produces $4 profit before fees. If incorrect, you lose the $6 purchase cost plus fees. These are example prices, not current quotes.

Price matters: For a standard $1 contract held to settlement, your estimated chance of being correct must exceed your all-in cost per contract for positive expected value. A 65% estimate would not justify paying $0.80 plus fees. This sheet does not supply calibrated probabilities or claim a verified trading edge.

How These Predictions Relate to Sportsbook Bets

Moneyline: The team marked YES is our outright winner lean. Check the odds: a favorite can win often and still offer poor value at an expensive price.

Point spread: These picks do not predict whether a team will cover. A team favored by 9.5 points can win by 3, making its winner pick correct while its spread bet loses.

Totals and props: This sheet makes no over/under, player-prop or score predictions. A NO label is not a sportsbook bet by itself; choosing the opponent’s moneyline requires checking the book’s tie and settlement rules.

Moneyline example: At -200, a $20 winning stake earns $10 profit and returns $30 total. At +150, a $20 winning stake earns $30 profit and returns $50 total. Break-even win rates are approximately 66.7% and 40%, respectively, assuming an ordinary win/loss settlement.

Use these as a research starting point. No pick guarantees profit. Contract prices, fees and sportsbook odds affect value, and losses are possible. This page is independent of Robinhood and sportsbooks.

Sources and Method

The winner leans follow favorites in early sportsbook lines checked October 4, 2026. They are not the output of an independently validated prediction model. Confidence compares the early favorite strength; lines can change.

About Sports Prediction Central

Free picks across the sports you follow.

Sports Prediction Central is a home for weekly NFL predictions, college football picks, basketball forecasts, hockey picks, rugby predictions, soccer analysis, baseball picks and other sporting events.

Each published prediction can include the matchup, event date, selected winner, reasoning and the uncertainties that could change the outcome.

Read the pick. Check the result.

Check whether a prediction concerns the outright winner, a point spread or another outcome. Results should be graded against the original published selection and its stated rules. Keep past results in the record as each new week begins.

Favorites can lose. Predictions are estimates, never guarantees. If you use picks to evaluate a paid contract or wager, the entry price and fees also affect the outcome for your money.
